From the original austinhealey.com site. Owner Michael Salter:

"Purchased derelect in 1984, having been used as a drag racer, I suspect. Collected and made all the parts to restore the car, just in time for the Austin Healey Challenge series for 1990. Competed in numerous races in 1990 & 1991 and retired the car to stud in 1992. It now has been returned to original condition and is used occasionally for shows, etc.

This was a fun car to race, but rather twitchy in the wet. I have a few extra parts if any 100S owner needs them, such as front side lamps and fuel pump switches. I would like to acquire an original ratio 2.92 diff for road use."

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
