Am in Spain/costa del sol at present on holiday - have a look at my/our Classic Car Club website: www.solclassiccarclub.net I do not have my Healey here at the moment, had it here for three years until last year so you may find it if you look in the club archives! Cheers to you both Chris

Hi Graham, A question about your reg no' I've just bought NUE976 c/n 140266. NUE854 c/n134375 is the first RHD Healey 100.NUE853 c/n 138980 and yours NUE552 c/n 138983. Your reg no' doesn't make sense. I have acquired some great early pics of NUE 852. Are you sure that your car is not NUE 852?

NUE 852 (AHX16) was the second RHD BN1 to be built, AHX9 was the first and was used for testing, publicity and as a development car. - check Bill Piggott's book page 60.

NUE 852 was a Warwick pre-production car but not registered till 16th July 1953. Graham's car is the first Longbridge production BN1 (see Bill's book page 69) built 16th May 1953 so explains the number plates

Hi Graham, Trust you're all well.

Good to see you're still enjoying NUE 552.

It's been 25 years since 'Marilyn' was restored, but she's still holding up and gets driven almost every weekend. The blue Austin Sprite is still alive too and will be joined one day by project Frog Eye...

Cheers, Robin.. (ex New Forest)

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
