Car is '54 BN1, bought in Jan '57, converted to V8 power in July '57. Engine is a '59 Olds 394 bored to 419ci, produces about 400hp, tranny is a '37 La Salle 3 spd, rearend is a '57 Chevy with positraction. Curb weight is 2486#, weight distribution is 47% front and 53% rear. Wheels are original BN1 wire knockoffs, rears are strengthened to take the huge tongue. Car has gone 118mph in 12.5sec in quarter mile drags in '64 and presently does 0 to 60mph in 3.8sec.
