1954 Austin Healey BN1 100/4 M-Tribute Replica- Ground-up Restoration - Chev V6 Just in, a very appealing and well restored...and fast '54 100/4 Healey. Terrific body-off restoration painted in Healey Florida Turquois Blue with Grey leather interior. Unused, matching grey top and door panels. Note the body was carefully left stock to keep the look and value of these rare and desirable cars. New Wire wheels and Radial tires maintain the stock appearance. Rebuild, @225 hp Chevrolet V6, with high performance intake and carb, quiet, low restriction exhaust system backed up to a Muncie 4spd transmission and Dana rear end!. Great attention to detail in the mechanical restoration and conversion. We are finishing up the restoration work on the car presently, and anticipate the thrill of driving this car. The new drivetrain is expected to be 200 pounds lighter than the original iron 4 cylinder engine and 3 speed transmission. We DO have access to a correct BN1 or BN2 Healey engine and transmission if the buyer wants to go back to stock. We also have Healey Front disk brake assemblies available if the buyer wants more stopping power, instead of the freshly rebuilt, front Drum brake assembly, Also have the Original unlouvered hood, it is painted in the same color as the rest of the car. Price TBD - Offers welcome.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
