To be OFFERED AT AUCTION at RM Sotheby's Paris event, February 8, 2017.
110 bhp, 2,660 cc OHV inline four-cylinder engine, four-speed manual transmission with overdrive, coil-spring independent front suspension, live rear axle with semi-elliptical leaf springs, and hydraulic front disc and rear drum brakes. Wheelbase: 2,286 mm

Confirmed by the 100M 'Le Mans' Registry as one of 640 produced
Concours restoration completed by marque experts JME Healey
Presented in its original period colours and with all correct numbers throughout

Offered here is a genuine 100M 'Le Mans' on 13 February 1956 as certified by the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust and 100M 'Le Mans' Registry. It is presented with its correct numbers throughout and retains its original 100M engine, bearing the original plate number 1B/230813-M fitted new at manufacture.

Following completion in early 1956, this Healey was shipped to the United States and is believed to have spent the majority of its life there, being purchased by Mr John Habersham Elliott Jr of Virginia in 1994 in poor condition. Mr Elliott commenced the restoration process, including the completion of the inner structure metalwork, fitting the inner structure of the vehicle to a new Kilmartin chassis (correct specification with fixed damper mounts), which is common amongst Healey restorations.

Purchased by the current owner, due to Mr Elliott's failing health, the car was imported to the United Kingdom in 2014. This 100M was then returned to its full former glory, being the subject of a comprehensive mechanical and cosmetic restoration during 2015 by JME Healeys of Warwick - one of the world's leading experts and restorers of Austin-Healeys. Beautifully finished in its original colour combination of Black over Reno Red, the car is now offered for sale with full 100M authentication from JME itself, plus a documented and photographic restoration record with invoices totalling £65,000. Since completion, this Healey has been shown at several shows and is offered for sale with a new Everflex hood, tonneau cover, copper and Thor hammer, and wooden-eared spanner.

An affordable and highly eligible Austin-Healey, this 100M has many exciting miles ahead of it.
