I've owned this car since 1961 but hasn't been driven since 1972 and has been stored in various places since then. I do want to start a restoration. Unfortunately it was not stored properly but is not a wreck. I'm sure there are major issues with the frame rusting and I have no idea as to the state of the engine. I will be joking the local Austin Healey Club of Southern Ontario in the near future. Just exploring the Origins of the car before I bought it. I have lost the registration and I'm not even sure where an ignition key is but I'm excited to get going on this major project now that I'm retired. Any assistance, information would be appreciated.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
