1956 Austin Healey 100/4 BN2 - Fast Road Spec

Registration Number: TFO 962. Chassis Number: BN2-L/233104. Engine Number: 1B/233104-M. Body Number 14281. Built in June 1956, this Austin Healey was originally exported to Los Angeles, CA before being repatriated to the United Kingdom in 1991 and professionally converted to right hand drive.

Finished in Carmine red with new 100S style interior and new matching woollen carpets.

Recent full mechanical upgrade to fast road specification by marque specialist Richard Parker completed 2020 to include:

Original matching numbers engine with full steel bottom end, balanced, rebuilt and dyno-tested. Bespoke steel crankshaft with DWM competition crank super damper, forged Omega 100M pistons. Lightened flywheel and diaphragm clutch with uprated linkage, DWM race spec camshaft. DWM race big bore side exit exhaust system. New DWM aluminium head (original head retained). 100M spec H6 SU carburettors with gas flowed manifolds, alloy fuel tank with new facet pump. New aluminium radiator with multi blade cooling fan, electric cooling fan. 123 ignition, high torque starter. Throttle cable conversion. Lowered front suspension with uprated front anti roll bar and 72 spoke black painted wheels. Louvered Aluminium bonnet with Le Mans style leather strap.

Supplied with Current UK V5C registration document, Heritage Certificate, full photographic record with detailed breakdown of costs.

Superb very high performance example of the marque. Eligible and competitive for historic motorsport events including Goodwood Revival and Mille Miglia.
