This 1957 Austin-Healey 100-6 is a four-seat BN4 roadster that is said to have been refurbished and is powered by a 2.6L inline-six mated to a four-speed manual transmission. Finished in two-tone white and black over red leather upholstery, the car is equipped with a black soft top, 15″ Minilite-style wheels, dual SU carburetors, an aluminum radiator, Lucas Tri-Bar headlights and driving lights, and a Les Leston steering wheel. The car was reportedly acquired by the seller approximately 16 years ago, and an oil change was carried out in preparation for the sale. This BN4 is offered with a black tonneau cover, removable side screens, a jack, a repair manual, a British Motoring Industry Heritage Trust certificate, parts invoices, and a clean Maryland title in the seller’s name.

Finished from the factory in Florida Green, the body is said to have been disassembled, stripped, and refinished in white with black coves during a multi-year refurbishment that began in 2016. Additional details include a black soft top with a matching tonneau cover, chrome bumpers and trim, Lucas Tri-Bar headlights and driving lights, dual side mirrors, and twin exhaust outlets. The windshield washers are non-functional, the windshield is cracked, and a paint chip is noted near the driver-side taillight. A spare windshield is included in the sale.

Silver-finished 15″ Minilite-style alloy wheels are mounted with 185/70 Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. Braking is handled by drums at all four corners.

Originally trimmed in gray, the four-seat cabin has been refurbished using red leather upholstery with black piping. Amenities include black carpets, a heater and defroster, and black Austin-Healey-branded floor mats.

A Les Leston woodgrain-rimmed steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation that includes a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer indicates 582 miles, which is said to reflect the distance traveled since the completion of the refurbishment. True mileage is unknown.

The 2.6L inline-six features dual SU carburetors and an aluminum radiator. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. An oil change was carried out in preparation for the sale, and the seller notes an oil leak.

Additional images showing the condition of the underside are included in the gallery below.

A replacement VIN tag has been installed, and the removed plate is included.

Documentation accompanying the car includes parts invoices, a repair manual, and a British Motoring Industry Heritage Trust certificate detailing colors, equipment, production information, and initial delivery to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The Maryland title is listed as a “duplicate or corrected.”

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
