This 1958 Austin Healey 100/6 is a BN6, meaning a two seater, and it has been privately entered from a collection in the North of England. The bodywork is painted in arguably the best colour scheme for this car in the form of Blue over Cream with the interior being finished in a complementary Dark Blue. The car had been beautifully restored and he bought it in 1996 from the professional car restorer in Farnborough.
It comes naturally with the 2600cc engine and the manual four speed gearbox with overdrive and the 77000 miles on the odometer is believed to be genuine from new even though it was originally exported in left hand drive format and converted to its present right hand drive format when it was restored upon its return to these shores.
The car has a current V5 registration document, a current M.O.T. until January 2000 and a Heritage certificate. It is described as being in very good condition all round and we feel that it should attract a lot of interest at the sale.
