Number of cylinders: 6
CC: 3000

The history file tells us that this car was originally built in 1965 as a UK right hand drive BJ8. More recently prepared for competition by Maurice Jennings of SRS Motorsport, it is now run by noted Big Healey specialists, Cape Sport International of Redditch, who tell us it would cost over £100k to replicate today. The car is now fully prepared for International road rallying with both an MSA Special Stage log book and full FIA papers.
It was built with an FIA steel cage and fitted with the 'Works' hard top, boot lid and side exhaust. It has a full competition specification so is fitted with a long range foam filled tank, a De Dion Works style rear axle location, adjustable pedal box and brake bias, professional light weight wiring loom, a Halda Speedpilot and Twinmaster, a Quaife lsd, straight cut 'tulip ratio' gearbox with uprated competition overdrive by Hardy engineering which includes a triple plate clutch, Cibié lamps, and Ridgard seats with full harnesses.
The engine was originally built by SRS Motorsport to give 200 bhp, but then further modified by Denis Welch and now includes Cosworth pistons, Carillo Rods, Stainless valves, Denis Welch cam, triple 45 DCOE's, competition exhaust, alloy radiator, alloy sump and lightweight sump-guard etc. etc. etc.
Now ready to compete competitively anywhere around the globe, it is worthy of very close inspection at the Sale
