Concours 1964 Austin Healey 3000 BJ-8 MKIII Convertible

This car was the subject of a thorough and exhaustive, ground up, nut and bolt, rotisserie restoration by premier Marque specialist.
Finished in Healey Blue with Original "Navy" trim. This 100 point restoration is photo documented and the album accompanies the car. The car comes with its British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate and the list of parts used during the restoration.
The certificate verifies the car to be numbers matching and equipped from new with wire wheels, adjustable steering column, laminated windscreen, roadspeed tyres, overdrive, and a heater.
All work and detailing has been carried out to the highest Austin Healey Gold Concours Standards. The car runs and performs flawlessly on the road and is a true pleasure to drive.
The car is equally ready for the show field and the open road, Winning a First Place @ California Healey Week May 2012 and Outstanding In Category @ The Laguna Beach Classic Car Show the previous October. And Best In Show Healey's on the Green 2013

Terry's been in the restoration business for years and is very well known in the Austin-Healey community for both his knowledge and fantastic restorations. This particular car has had a no-expense-spared restoration to the highest Austin-Healey Gold Concours standard. It has been judged by Austin-Healey experts to be a 100-point restoration, and is in many ways better than the day it left the factory. The car comes with history documenting this very comprehensive restoration, along with a parts list of everything that's been rebuilt and replaced. This fantastic 3000 also comes with a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate showing it's a matching-numbers car, and is just as it left the factory. In most experts' opinion, the Austin-Healey 3000 BJ8 is the most desirable of the production Healeys, and this particular car optioned in Healey blue with blue upholstery and blue top is in our opinion is the prettiest of color combinations. Since i bought the car i have fitted new white wall tyres (5) I have not done much mileage yet but look forward to a decent summer, the car is as clean underneath and i want it to stay that way, I may part exchange it for a 100% 280SL Pagoda yet.
