Just Arrived For Sale For Sale 1967 Austin Healey 3000 Mark III Phase 2. Car number: HBJ8L / 38291 Body Number 3227BJ8-83140, engine number 29K / RU / H 12833 , Frame Off Restoration, All Original Matching Numbers,New Stainless steel exhaust system,Excellent original interior, Low mileage, change from generator to alternator, change to negative ground, change to quick change modern oil filter system, Pertronics ignition system, Rally vents installed for cooler running,Mini-lites as on the rally cars, Magna-Core ignition wires, British Motor Industry Heritage Trust/ Certified Copy of a Factory Record, the car was built Sept 21-30 '66 and shipped to a dealer in NY October '66. All the original parts, ie: steering wheel, generator, voltage regulator, oil filter cartridge etc, that were replaced to make the car more reliable, have been retained, should the need for originality arise. Jules Frame used in the restoration:Jule Enterprises is the largest supplier of the Austin Healey replacement chassis and is a complete restoration shop. Jule Enterprises produces a chassis with the same dimensions as the original. They use a 3"X 4" structural tube and it does not have the 3/8" seam running midway along the chassis rail. The tube is pound for pound stronger than a frame that has seen the elements of half a century. It is also dead straight and reproduces Donald Healey's original geometry.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
