I owned the car in 1978, it was in So. California at the time. I restored it, pretty much nut and bolt resto but not show. The car was white, I had it painted Colorado Red.

Good to see my old car alive but perhaps not well, its been many years. Appears to still be in California?

Finally, back on the road in Sonoma CA - I acquired it in an estate sale in the late 90's - it had a seized engine with a cracked head, #6 hole. I completely rebuilt - sleeved #6 cylinder, .030 overbore.

Numerous upgrades - Tacoma/Lexus 5speed, Nippondenso gear reduction starter, Bosch alternator, new wiring harness, electronic ignition, TT stainless exhaust, new 60 spoke wires, refreshed brakes, re-cored radiator - running pretty sweet.

Chas,
Very good to see it back on the road and even better than it was. It was a non rusty car when I had it so a worthy project. A shame the engine was seized, someone obviously let it set. I traded it it to a small dealer in Fullerton, CA for a '70 E-type so no clue where it went from there. I bought it from a lady in Los Angeles in good running shape but tired cosmetically. She had also had it upholstered in turquoise, that had to go. I did pull the motor but only to do a valve job, no problems with the car when I sold it. Sounds like you really have a nice car.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
