I purchased the car in 1998, and am doing a very slow restoration, the car was accident damaged in 1965? re-built in 1967/8, and never driven. fell into very poor and rusty state, mileage showing and believed genuine as ONLY 12,801

The car was built 7 Apr 1964, but not dispatched until 29 April 1966?

The page from the Healey build book shows Dispatch on 28 May 1964.

As part of abody off renovation completed in 2015 the car has been resprayed Red as it was when built.

Car was reregistered in 1968 as TUD186G shortly after returning to the UK from India. Shortly afterward it was taken off the road until 2015. It then reverted back to origional registration BBH820B

The car has been inspected by AH Members Club. It was given an outstanding review of the handling of the car as one of the best the tester had experienced.
As a UK delivered car it is one of only 108 BJ8 Ph1's, with a verified mileage of 19,821 in Feb 2021 due to several long periods in storage.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
