I bought my austin-healey in 1983, had the engine transmission and overdrive rebuilt in 1985-6 then took the car off the road, for 23 years (!) in 1988 when my children were born.I had it completely restored over a 6 year period starting in 2005. I picked it up in May 2011 and my wife and are are now driving madly into our 2nd childhood
