From the original austinhealey.com site, owner Ron Denning:

"The car is the 735th BN1 built - build date is 11 November 1953.
The car has had about 11 owners and came to Australia in about 1960. It had a body off restoration in the late 1980's and further extensive mechanical work in 1994/5. I purchased the car in September 1998.

The car has been bored out to 3 liters and has had a Le Mans kit fitted with extractors and a side exhaust. It also has a split dash and an adjustable steering column.

The Healey drives well and gets lots of comments when on the road, which is every week weather permitting. It is not a show car but a great driver and everything I hoped it would be."

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
