This 1955 Austin-Healey 100 BN1 roadster was refurbished in 2017, and it is finished in blue and white over blue vinyl upholstery. The car is powered by a 2.7-liter inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and equipment includes a removable soft top, a louvered hood, white-finished 15″ knock-off wire wheels, and driving lamps. This 100 was acquired by the current owner in 2019 and is now offered in California on dealer consignment with the owner’s manual and a clean Maryland title.
The car was repainted blue and white during the aforementioned refurbishment. Features include a removable soft top, a louvered hood, an adjustable windshield, Lucas tri-bar headlights, a leather hood strap, driving lamps, and a single exhaust outlet.
The 15″ white-finished knock-off wire wheels are mounted with 165/80 Nexen SB-802 tires, and braking is handled by drums at each corner.
The bucket seats are trimmed in blue vinyl with white piping, and interior appointments include a passenger grab handle and door pockets.
The banjo-style steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 120-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 468 miles, only a handful of which were added under current ownership. The seller states the mileage is not accurate, and total mileage is unknown.
The 2.7-liter inline-four featured dual SU carburetors from the factory for a rating of 90 horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque. The engine was reportedly rebuilt during the refurbishment.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive, which is also said to have been rebuilt in 2017.
