1953 Austin-Healey Roadster with 100m Le Mans Upgrades
Recent Restoration * California Car
This Austin-Healey roadster with 100M Le Mans roadster upgrades is said to be an original California delivered BN1 where it was reputedly raced for several years. Restored 4 years ago in CA, where it was brought up to 100M Le Mans specifications while receiving a fresh Signal Red paint along with a new interior done by a renowned Pebble Beach trimmer. Beneath the distinctive louvered hood resides a rebuilt engine built by a reputable Healey engine builder in Riverside, CA who fit it with an aluminum Weslake cylinder head, high compression Le Mans spec pistons, camshaft, and correct 1 ¾" SU carbs and air box. The car is fast and tracks very well with the addition of a larger front swaybar and new performance tires.
