This white over dark blue BN1 was built in January 54' for the North American Market. Recently brought back to the UK 721 YUJ has been subject to a sympathetically restoration by the current vendor. Naturally the US car was found to be in a rust free state. As a matter of course the floor pans were replaced, and the bare metal car was repainted, with the wire wheels powder-coated to match.

According to the vendor the head and sump were removed from the engine and the internals checked for wear and found to be good. The gearbox was also found to be in good condition- whilst the sensible opportunity was taken to rebuild the overdrive unit. For safety new brakes were fitted all round and a new wiring loom also installed. The interior was re-trimmed in the stunning shade of dark blue leather piped in white, with a new carpet set being fitted.

Described to be in excellent overall condition, 721 YUJ is MoT'd until October 2012.

This superb early Austin Healey is eligible for the most prestigious events such as the Mille Miglia and as such is an opportunity not to be missed.
