From the original austinhealey.com web site. Owner Leigh Parker:
"I have had this car since January 95, after many years of saving I traveled about 1200km after spotting the car in our classic car trading magazine called Unique cars to purchase my dream car, (I was 25 years old). I got the bug from my father who had a BN1 in 1959 and an XK120 after that so I blame him!
It is painted in 2 Porsche colors not orig. but will one-day return to Healey blue.
It has had quite a lot of engine work done and goes very strong, it was raced in the early part of its life. Not showroom by any means but a very solid useable classic that is a pleasure to drive.
Tends to overheat in the summer but with 210psi comp (way to high for street use) you can't blame it!! I'd love to hear from other Healey owners.
My e-mail is # Happy Healeying!!"
