Car to be at auction 6/26
angliacarauctions.co.uk/auctions/2763-20-Jun-2026/14478~1-1957-austin-healey-100-6
Auction description:
Sat 20th & Sun 21st June
1957 AUSTIN HEALEY 100/6
Estimate: £20,000 - £24,000
V5 present
MoT exempt
Chassis number: BN40D38317
Engine size: 2639cc
This red, recently restored Austin-Healey 100/6 (BN4) is accompanied by a BMIHT heritage certificate confirming that it was originally supplied in RHD by Central Garages in Leeds, finished in Colorado Red and equipped with overdrive, a heater and disc wheels. The vendor describes it as "very solid underneath." We're told it drives well, though a service and tune-up would be beneficial, and a small amount of restoration work remains to be completed.
The car is supplied with a new hood and tonneau cover and the original sidescreens, along with a set of 4 wire wheels with spinners, which require refurbishment. Paperwork consists of previous and current V5Cs, green continuation logbook, old DVLA correspondence, printouts of technical information and the heritage certificate. The latest V5 shows 2 former keepers, with the current owner in possession since 2021.
First registered was on 26th July 1957.
