This 1958 Austin-Healey 100-6 BN4 four-seat roadster is a non-running project car that was purchased out of Kentucky by the seller in 2024. The 2.6-liter inline-six is seized, and the frame and various body parts require refurbishment. Finished in red over black, the car is equipped with a four-speed manual transmission, overdrive, dual SU carburetors, and 15″ knock-off wire wheels. This 100-6 project is now offered at no reserve with spare parts and a clean Indiana title in the seller’s name.
The car is painted red, and the scooped hood and the trunk lid are finished in primer. Paint is missing from some areas, and body filler was applied under prior ownership. The vehicle has a convertible-top frame but no soft roof. The windshield is cracked. Rust is noted in the sills, wheel wells, trunk compartment, and floors.
Corroded 15″ knock-off wire wheels are mounted with dry-rotted Riverside tires. Only one brake drum is installed, and three other brake drums will accompany the vehicle.
The four seats are trimmed in black upholstery. Most of the carpeting is missing, and other imperfections are visible.
The banjo-style steering wheel has an aftermarket wrap and frames Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 120-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 70k miles.
The 2.6-liter inline-six is equipped with dual SU carburetors. The engine is seized, and the car reportedly was driven most recently in 1972.
The car has a four-speed manual transmission with an overdrive unit. Corrosion is evident on underbody components including the frame.
