Car was purchased in 2001 from a gentleman in the suburbs of Cleveland, OH. At that time, the car was painted in a British Green exterior and black interior. Although the color scheme had been changed from its production coloring, the car maintained all of its original components. It was brought to Florida in 2001 and underwent a ground-up restoration over the next 5 years. With the exception of the color scheme, great attention was given to protecting its originality. The car was relocated to North Carolina in 2008 where it now enjoys the occasional drive.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
