Car to be at auction 1/16
www.barrett-jackson.com/Events/Event/Details/1959-AUSTIN-HEALEY-100-6-CUSTOM-ROA ...

Auction description:
Scottsdale 2016
VIN BN4L073910
Exterior Color RED
Interior Color WHITE
Cylinders 6
Engine Size
Transmission 4-SPEED MANUAL

Lot #159 - This Austin-Healey is one of the last with this body style. Stylistically, the windows and convertible top were all changed in 1960, along with the body-lines. This makes the 1959 rare in that it has bolt-in-place windows, stow-away convertible top and clean body lines. It was restored and customized while retaining the original by Pro Shops in Portland, Oregon. There is a briefcase full of invoices along with two, large photo albums showing all stages of the restoration with the car. Everything that could be chrome plated, was, including brake drums.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
