This 1959 Austin-Healey 100-6 is a BN4 four-seat roadster that is finished in red over black vinyl upholstery and powered by a 2.6-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a black tonneau cover, a Moto Lita steering wheel, Smiths instrumentation, dual SU carburetors, and 15″ knock-off wire wheels. The car was refurbished under previous ownership before being acquired by the current owner in January 2020. This 100-6 BN4 is now offered on dealer consignment with a clean California title.
The car was repainted in red under previous ownership and wears chrome bumpers with overriders. A black tonneau cover, a polished fuel filler cap, and twin polished exhaust outlets are further details.
Chrome-finished 15″ wire wheels are secured by two-eared knock-off spinners and are mounted with 165-series Dunlop SP20 A/S tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel drums.
The 2+2 cabin features low-back bucket seats that are trimmed in black vinyl and accompanied by color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Austin-Healey-branded floor mats line the footwells, and further appointments include a dash-mounted rearview mirror, a passenger-side grab handle, and polished trim on the dashboard and doors.
The wood-rimmed Moto Lita steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 72k miles, approximately 100 of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 2.6-liter inline-six is equipped with SU dual carburetors with polished air cleaner housings as well as a Lucas ignition coil and an Austin-branded valve cover assembly.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The selling dealer notes that the overdrive unit is inoperative, and rust is visible on underbody components.
