Heritage Notes

Heritage records this car as built for the home market as RHD even though the chassis number would indicate LHD build. I suspect it was ordered for someones Christmas present and diverted from the factory line. Wire wheels, laminated screen and no heater or overdrive

Car has now been fitted with a 3lt engine with triple carbs and has an overdrive fitted. The car is currently undergoing restoration with the body and panels now in primer, running gear rebuilt, prop, gearbox and overdrive rebuilt. Engine started. Chrome and trim done. May be another 12 months to be nearly there, lets hope so. The car has been dry stored since 1991 and I would to hear from previous owners. I know where the car has been from 1991 but not before. Homework reveals the previous owner may have been the Rogers family from Wales?

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
