Sellers description:
1959 Austin-Healey 100-Six BN6 Two-Seater
Chassis No. BN6-L/3560
Engine No. 26D/RU/H70587
Body No. 3062
Offered here is an original LHD, North American Spec two-seater, completed on October 6, 1958 and delivered new to New Orleans, Louisiana. It wears appropriate British Racing Green paint over Black upholstery and factory equipped with wire wheels, overdrive, MPH speedometer and laminated windscreen. Previously enjoyed as a casual driver, this Healey now displays an older restoration, ideal for light restoration. Complete with plexi side curtains, top shell (missing frame) and full-cab tonneau cover. The body shows signs of corrosion, visible from the underside edges but with a good frame, while the engine bay reveals the original numbers-matching and now triple-carbureted motor. Overall we believe this is a great example to take to the next level. It is offered with a Heritage Certificate confirming matching numbers and specifications. It is important to note that in 10 years of buying Healey's this is the first Two-Seater that we have owned, they are rare.
$36,500.
