This 1959 Austin-Healey 100-6 BN6 roadster was acquired by the current owner and their spouse in 1963. The car underwent a color change to white at some point in the 1970s and in 2008, it was repainted again and was fitted with a Toyota-sourced five-speed manual transmission. Power is from a 2.6-liter inline-six equipped with dual SU carburetors, and additional equipment includes a blue vinyl soft top and bucket seats along with a white fiberglass hardtop. Following a period off the road, the roadster underwent recommissioning work by the selling dealer in July 2025 that involved servicing the brakes as well as replacing the starter, battery, and clutch cylinders. This 100-6 is now offered on dealer consignment at no reserve with a tonneau cover, sliding side curtains, partial service records, and a clean Oregon title.
The car is said to have been previously finished in blue and repainted white at some point in the 1970s before being repainted again and fitted with a replacement blue vinyl soft top and frame in 2008. A hood scoop, dual side mirrors, and chrome bumpers with overriders are further details. The seller notes rust on the lower side sills. A removable white fiberglass hardtop is included in the sale along with a blue vinyl tonneau cover and removable sliding side curtains.
The 15″ wire wheels are secured by two-ear knockoffs and mounted with 165-width Ohtsu tires that require replacement. Suspension and brake work in July 2025 involved repairing the front anti-sway bar mounts as well as replacing the brake master cylinder, hoses, cylinders, and shoes.
The cabin features bucket seats trimmed in blue vinyl accompanied by color-coordinated upper dash trim, door panels, lap belts, and carpets. Further interior appointments include a Smiths cabin heater as well as a dash-mounted mirror and a passenger-side grab handle. The ignition switch was replaced in July 2025.
A banjo-style steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 120-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer has rolled over and now shows 33k miles. Approximately 110k miles are said to have been added under current ownership.
The car is powered by a 2.6-liter inline-six that was equipped from the factory with dual SU carburetors. Service in July 2025 involved changing the oil and cleaning and adjusting the carburetors as well as replacing the starter, battery, and fuel filter.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Toyota-sourced five-speed manual transmission that the selling dealer notes was retrofitted in 2008. Work in July 2025 involved replacing the clutch cylinders and hose as well as changing the transmission and differential fluids.
Photos of the car, body, and engine numbers are shown above. The current Oregon title lists the VIN as 71212, which matches the last five digits of the engine number. The document was signed and dated by the owner in August 2025.
