The Car - With a keen eye to detail and authenticity, this classic example of an Austin-Healey 3000 is finished in its original Colorado Red finish and fitted with a complete black leather seating surfaces. Door panels and dash trim are also finished in black with black carpet for covering the floor. Stashed neatly in the boot is the black folding top reproduced in the exact same grain as the original with the plastic windows showing clean, clear and without major scratches. Under the hood, and that legendary in-line six gleams and those SU carburetors feed plenty of fuel to the engine keeping alive and wells. Those gleaming knock-off chrome wire wheels sparkle in the sunlight and the chassis has been detailed and is ready to roll. While the early history of this car has been lost, it is believed to have been delivered new in the USA and while very authentic in detail, this car is not a trailer queen. During a recent test run this Austin-Healey was reported to run out quite well and everything appears to have been sorted out including the electrical systems. What a wonderful chariot this would be for a romantic get-away or a spirited autumn afternoon drive.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
