This is a truly superb late entry and it has been fully restored at a cost of over £42000 and there are bills in the history file to substantiate this. This 1967 Austin Healey 3000 Mk3 phase two car was bought by the present owner and vendor in December 1987 and then he started this rebuild which took two years in total from 1988 until 1990.

It is finished in Red with Black upholstery and trim and all the work was done by Healey specialists from the ground up. It has been virtually unused since and this is borne out by the fact that the free road fund licence ran out in October 1995.

It comes with the 2912cc six cylinder engine and four speed manual gearbox with overdrive and it has a current M.O.T. until October next year and it can only be described as being totally superb.

One of the very best available at any price.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
