Just inherited a 1963 Phase 1 BJ8 3000 Austin Healey from my father-in-law Clarence Eggers. He has restored the car (Rotisserie). Still installing the wire harness and interior. All else is either new, rebuilt or refurbish. Last time the car was driven was in 1970. Dad has been working off and on since then. She is a beautiful car painted in Healey Blue. I will soon be moving the car from Lewisburg, KY to Huntsville, AL. Dad said he purchased the car from a educator at Austin Peay college in Clarksville, TN. Once I get it home I will be able to get the Engine and Gearbox numbers. Dad also has a lot of extra Austin Healey parts he has collected over the years. Engines, Gearboxes, Bonnet, fenders, etc. I will get a complete inventory of his parts when we move the car. For now I have to make room for the Healey and the parts. I have a 1995 Mazda Miata that has been restored that I need to sell. The Miata is a quasi show car if a Miata can be a show car. Any advice and reference material would be greatly appreciated. I will join the Austin Healey Club.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
