David Golding Classic Auto fitted a new veneer dash.
Elegant black carpet with protective rubber floor mats
All instrumentation and switches were presented very well.

We notice that the gear lever ring has detached from the base
Boot space is well presented and holds a full size spare wheel.
The cabin of this car is in very good condition and benefits from a very good level of repainting. The upholstery has no signs of excessive wear or damage that we could pinpoint. We have not noticed any subsequent additions or modifications, so it offers a great driving experience that is correct for the era.
The outside
The bodywork restoration started in 2011
Now it's a little patinated in places, but overall it's good and very linear.
We have noticed some corrosion on the outer sills.
There is a light nick to the front of the near side.
The chrome has some minor corrosion, but nothing particularly noticeable.
Light corrosion on the inside edge of the boot lid
The underside looks good overall
Comes with a tonneau cover which has some wear, but no notable damage.
The wire wheels were refinished at David Golding Classic Auto and a new soft top was fitted.
The soft top is in very good condition and works properly
Green always looks good on a 1960s British sports car and this Austin Healey 3000 is no exception.
The paint continues to look good overall with a few small blemishes here and there. The bodywork is also elegant with some corrosion starting to show in places. The roof has been replaced in recent years and therefore remains in good condition. All finishes are elegant, as are the flush wheels and their tyres.
The mechanics
3.0-litre in-line 6-cylinder engine
Four-speed manual gearbox
The seller informs us that the car is regularly serviced.
It presents very well under the hood
We have been informed that performance is good and there are no issues to report
There's a reason the Big Healey enjoyed so much racing success of the time, largely due to its powerful engine and capable chassis. The MkIII "Phase II" had more power than ever before, as well as some chassis improvements to improve ground clearance. We have been told that this specimen is in very good shape and has a high performance. It is said to drive very well and has no known faults.
