Hi, New to this site can anyone help me with the history of my car. I purchased it back in 1992 from auction after it had been imported from the USA. Last know owners in the US. Mr Sam Gish from Central City, KY.
Plate number: 83 MAW181
and before him Mr George Tilson. Plate number: 78 CBV412. Would be great if anyone out there could help me !!!!! Cheers Rod

Rod, please contact me about your BJ8. Since 1998, I have been the BJ8 Model Registrar for all three major Austin-Healey clubs in the USA and Canada. I have contact info for the previous owner, Sam Gish, and may be able to help you learn more about the history of your car.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
