Ebay item 8/9/07

Car has a buy it now price of $59,995. 48k miles.

Sellers description:
A pristine 1965 Austin Healey

The tires on the vehicle appear to have been recently replaced. The paint is in excellent condition and it is apparent that this car was garaged and meticulously-maintained. The body of this vehicle is straight and the paint is in excellent condition, with absolutely no signs of prior damage or reconditioning. This vehicle was tastefully optioned. This was an extra vehicle for the previous owner and the mileage is consistent with its limited use. Research is on-going to determine if the mileage is correct, 48,946. When the present owners purchased the car in 1982 it had 29,162 miles. The engine was blue printed in 2002 with only 30,230.

This car has successfully undergone a rigorous pre-buy inspection by Luttrell's Auto Center. The interior of this vehicle is virtually flawless. Very clean interior! Neither the ashtray, nor the cigarette lighter, appear to have been used in this vehicle. This vehicle runs like it has 10,000 miles on it. The transmission in this vehicle shifts very smoothly. All interior components are in good working order. A Healey 3000 in this condition, with these options and this color combination is an absolute rarity! The Healey 3000 is the epitome of sports cars! This is a classic.

We have all service records. This vehicle was used as a fair-weather car only but has been driven by the owners on nice days. The miles will be higher when delivery is made to the new owner do to the car shows that are scheduled through out the summer.

The trophies, which are included in the extra photos, are the owners and will be kept by them. Photos will be provided for the new owners of this fine classic.

The engine was blue printed in 2002 at 30,230 miles. For additional information on this for the serious buyer we can provide the name and phone number for verification.

This vehicle has been inspected by Luttrell's Auto Center in Walla Walla, Washington. You may call them for the results of their inspection. There was absolutely nothing to be done on the car except for the steering gear box. The gasket is seeping just a little and will need to be done at some point and time in the future. They wouldn't recommend it being done now, but just to make sure they ordered one and have it in stock. It would go to the new owner of this fine Classic.
