This is a 1965 Austin Healey 3000 MkIII with 14,113 miles on the odometer. The car is painted in a beautiful Onyx Black with a correct Red vinyl bucket seat interior. The whole package is finished off with the correct, 60 spoke, knock off wire wheels and is in outstanding overall condition.
No expense has been spared on this car as we have documentation for more than $20,000 including a complete rebuild of the motor performed by Highland Automotive of Highland New York; all local work on the car has been performed by Brittanic Motors of Avon Massachusetts, experts in their field. The 6 cylinder OHV 3 liter engine with twin SU's has lots of power and starts up without problem. The gearbox is smooth and easy to negotiate and the OverDrive operates as it should. The car has a floor mounted gear shift, a center console, walnut dash and plush red carpet. She also has seat belts, Dual wing mirrors, an excellent matched set of radial tires and a telescopic steering column; she also sports a beautiful wooden steering wheel. In addition, the car is fitted with Lucas fog lights, front disc brakes, a factory heater and defroster and the original BMC-AM Radio (N/W); the original boot and tonneau cover come with the car.
