This 1965 Austin-Healey 3000 Mark III BJ8 convertible received a full body-off rotisserie restoration. It is powered by a 2912cc inline 6-cylinder engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission with electronic overdrive. As part of the comprehensive restoration, the engine and all its ancillaries, as well as the transmission and complete drivetrain, were rebuilt. The engine is also equipped with an upgraded fan to help keep it cool in the hot summers. The suspension and brakes have been rebuilt, as has a new electrical system, including the wiring harness. The car is finished in Signal Red with a saddle leather interior and upgraded top finished in brown mohair. It also comes with a matching tonneau cover and boot, and rides on 72-spoke chromed wire wheels. The interior features an adjustable steering column, with an upgraded Moto Lita steering wheel, radio, heater and two wing-mounted side-view mirrors. This convertible is also equipped with an Armacord chrome trunk luggage rack sporting a picnic basket that was made in England, complete with a bottle of Dom Perignon champagne.
