Sellers description:
A magnificent BJ8 MK3 1966 Big Healy with roll up windows and wood dash etc.. This healey is in need of a full restoration to be brought back to his glory days. As you can see on the pictures the car was sprayed with a cosmoline oil all over before the storage. That,s the reason why it looks dirty on the pic, I removed some with solvent for picture purpose. Even the interior was sprayed. The overall of the car is very solid and restorable. The car is in need of both rocker panels, a trunk lid, some repair at the bottom of the fenders, one floor pan on the driver side, the other one on the passenger side still have some original paint on it and is very solid. The outrigger are very solid on both side. The door are solid with no rust. I removed the driver side fender as you can see on the pic and the underside is very solid with just some minor surface rust. This is a perfect candidate for a show room restoration. The mecanic is all original and I did not try to start the car . This car was never been restored or patched and it is a matching numbers car with a trust certificat with description as follow CHASSIS# H-BJ8-L/33195 ENGINE# 29K-RU-H/7941 BODY# 78143 GEARBOX# 7887 REAR AXLE 6952 KEY# FS 896. I have the original bill of sale and a the window sticker.
