Beautiful 1967 Austin Healey roadster. This vehicle presents extremely well with its pristine black body with Colorado Red accents. The body was stripped, primed and painted at 67000 miles and a new gas tank was installed. At the same time the engine and differential were rebuilt along with a new interior. The engine was over bored .020. A new top was installed this year. The top frame was painted to factory specs and the wood header and sides were reupholstered as well. New kingpins were installed and the idler arm was rebuilt at this time. New brake pads were recently installed as well as new rear springs and front shocks along with a stainless steel exhaust system.
The under carriage is typical for a 77000 mile Healey. There are some minor oil drips - nothing major. The outriggers are rusty and will need eventual replacement. The car smokes a bit on cold start up, but subsides within a few seconds. The car runs strong, starts reliably and sounds fantastic. It is a joy to drive.
This Healey drives and shows extremely well and has won several regional shows - 5 First Place awards and numerous secondary placements.
