On sale at MERIT CARS
1967 Austin Healey 3000 MKIII BJ8 Very Presentable
Available for $42,950
Description
1967 Austin Healey 3000 MKIII BJ8 that is very presentable as it is. The car is in Gunmetal Gray with a Oxblood red interior. It is a three owner car and the 2nd owner had it for 43 years. He restored the car extensively - body was taken down to bare metal, interior was redone and mechanics gone through. Paint is very presentable all around. Chrome is shiny and excellent. Interior is leather and presents well. Mechanics are in good working order - engine runs very smooth and with lot of power. New stainless steel exhaust was installed a few years ago. Underside and trunk are clean. Trunk hood is fiberglass, top is new, wheels are upgraded to 72 spoke chrome and radio is aftermarket with dual speakers under the dash. Car comes with a spare wheel, rubber mats and some extra parts. Overall this is a presentable last of the big healey 3000 that is ready to be driven. Price $42,950.

The VIN plate pictured is not a factory-original plate but a reproduction. No photo is shown of the body number plate and the view of the engine bay does not appear to show either the VIN plate or body plate installed. The engine serial number pictured appears to be compatible with a chassis number of 36544, however is this another car where the engine serial number was used to learn the matching VIN from BMIHT (they will no longer do that)?
There is another car in Spain also claiming to be HBJ8L/36544, sold by a dealer in November 2015.
