Have complete record of all previous 6 registered owners, courtesy of the NC DMV, which, unlike most other states, maintains their old registration records and, unlike Virginia, will not black out owners' names and addresses before keeping your records fee and sending the (now useless) records to you.

Stolen the same day it was bought new, but recovered by police behind a tile company about 2 am, unharmed but out of gas. Perps took a transistor radio with them. Driven twice roundtrip from eastern North Carolina to California (2002, 2008) once to Canada (2009), and 5000 miles to AHCA Conclave 2019 and post-Conclave Northern States tour. So far has been driven by current owner in 42 U.S. states.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
