The engine serial number given (AEO960) is actually the part number or casting number of the head and is not unique to this car but is on all BJ8 engines. The body number given (37979) is actually the chassis number, which is the last 5 digits of the VIN. An attempt was made to enter the body number J227 BJ8 but that is also truncated and incorrect. The top line of the body plate would read 3227 BJ8, with the body number on the bottom line which should be 82XXX or 83XXX (fill in the last 3 digits).
