Around 90 of 3000's were exported new to the USA and Canada, but fortunately many have now returned to Blighty. According to the Heritage Trust Certificate this Healey was exported new to New York, USA in October 1966. It came back to the UK in 1990 and was restored in the following few years and converted to right hand drive. There is a photo album showing this restoration. In 1994 the mileage recorded was 58,714mls. The engine was totally rebuilt with unleaded cylinder head in 2001 at 64,505mls and the mileage today is some 74,700mls. The specification includes overdrive and chrome wire wheels. The car has recently been checked over and MOT'd so is ready to be enjoyed once again.

This is a very presentable and useable example of arguably the best model. It has a good file and photographs of it's restoration, and should give good service and lots of fun to the new owners.

Guide Price: £28000 to £35000

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
