www.goodingco.com/vehicle/1960-austin-healey-3000-mk-i-bn7-4/
Auction description:
Lot 3
Amelia Island 2015
1960 Austin-Healey 3000 Mk I BN7
Estimate: $90,000 - $110,000 Without Reserve
Chassis: H-BN7-L/10830
*Please note this vehicle is titled 1961.
According to its BMHT certificate, this sensationally restored BN7 was desirably optioned from the factory in black over red with wire wheels, a heater, adjustable steering column, road-speed tires, laminated windscreen, and overdrive. Originally distributed to Ft. Worth, Texas, the 3000 spent some time in Colorado before a long period of storage in Arizona.
In 2009, the Big Healey was acquired by its current owner, a noted marque restorer and concours judge. Restored over a five-year period the BN7 benefited from close attention to both large and small components. Completed in April 2014, the photo-documented work resulted in several awards at local shows, including First in Class at the Healey Rendezvous 2014. Its rarity and presentation make it an ideal acquisition for any enthusiast of this hallowed British marque.

The included British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate records that this restored 1960 Austin-Healey 3000 MK I BN7 is finished in its factory original colors of Black over a Red leather interior and is complemented with a black soft top.
