Ebay item 8/30/07
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Austin-Healey-MKI-2-seater-1960-Austin-Healey-3000-BN7-R ...
Current bid $20,100 reserve not met, 8 bids, 3 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
This is a very rare and desirable 1960 Austin Healey 3000 BN7 two seater. Most Healeys were 4 seaters with the rear seats being about useless. The 2 seater has a lot more luggage room and is considered a "true roadster". According to the BMIHT certificate this car was built Sept. 9, 1959. This beautiful BN7 example spent most of its life in Southern California where it was not exposed to the damages of severe corrosion. Finished in the original color combination of Healey Blue with a stunning dark blue interior this Healey does not only look sharp but is also a strong and great driver. The complete frame-off, nut and bolt restoration was just completed by BMC Classics' award winning restoration shop during which the car has been upgraded with a later, center shift transmission with overdrive, front disc brakes, tub shock conversion, an extremely powerful engine and cockpit heat insulation. The beautiful dark blue interior is equipped with leather seats, matching dark blue carpet, soft top, tonneau cover as well as new side curtains. This is a high quality car and therefore priced accordingly.

Hello,
My name is Bruce Block. My siblings and I are having a big 50th Anniversary for our folks in December. We are looking for an Austin Healy in this year range to have for show at this event because that is what our Dad drove back when he met our Mom in Layfayette, Indiana. I know this is just a shot in the dark because I am not sure where you are located, or if you would be interested or if this is even possible? But, my motto that has worked for us so far in this event planning is... "it doesn't hurt to ask!" ha ha.
We are located outside of Beaumont Texas.
I appreciate your time reading this note and I hope it is a possibility we can talk about. Feel free to email me or call me. My cell phone number is 409 656 9295. My email is brucewblock@aol.com.
Thanks again, Bruce
