Body Colour Colorado Red /Black

The Mk1 3000 featured front disc brakes, wire wheels as standard and a more powerful engine

Fitted with a 124bhp, 2,912cc BMC C-Series and a 4-speed box with overdrive

This is an original, UK-supplied, right-hand drive 2+2 delivered from the Cape to the Donald Healey Motor Company Showroom on 26/07/1960

It's an early car with the 'side-shift' gearbox and side screens and was optioned from new with overdrive and wire wheels

Very well presented in Colorado Red over black with a black vinyl interior, black hood, black tonneau and chrome wires

Restored during the 2000/2001 period by Ellis Restorations of Northampton, documented and with photographic evidence

Huge history file including original green logbooks, old MOTs, numerous invoices, workshop manuals and its Heritage Certificate

More recently, the 3000 has benefited from a new carpet set, full oil service, new plugs and a coolant flush

Sensibly guided, this classic 'Big Healey' would make a wonderful touring companion

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
