This 1959 Austin-Healey 3000 BT7 Mk I was acquired by the current owner in 1996. The car is finished in Healey Blue with a removable blue soft top over 2+2 seating trimmed in blue leather with white piping. Power is provided by a 2.9-liter inline-six fitted with dual SU carburetors, while shifting is through a four-speed manual transmission linked with a Laycock de Normanville electric overdrive unit. Further equipment includes a banjo-style steering wheel and Smiths instrumentation along with driving lights, front disc brakes, and 15″ knock-off wire wheels. This 3000 Mk I and is now offered on dealer consignment in Birmingham, Michigan, with a clean Michigan title.
The car is finished in Healey Blue and accompanied by a removable blue soft top. Driving lights have been added up front, and further details include a hood scoop, a fender-mounted mirror, and chrome bumpers with overriders.
The 15″ wire wheels are secured by two-ear knock-offs and mounted with 165-width Michelin XZX tires. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.
