On sale on e-bay: cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/
The car has been disassembled and re-engineered to be a true combination of British style and looks, and American muscle and drivability. Chassis has been restored and painted after being engineered to accept the following modifications. The engine is a Cheverolet 350ci rated at 335 horsepower supplied by Phoenix Engine builders and has basically 0 miles except for start-up and short test drive. Edelbrock Carburtor, MSD Distirbutor, block-hugger headers, and lowprofile aircleaner. Front belt set up is by Hyper Drive V Belt systems and includes Mini Gen 2 heat and Air Conditioning unit with a power steering pump. Power steering rack and pinion is from a 1989 Volvo. Radiator is Aluminum and manufactored by Portell with an electric raidator fan.. Transmission is a 5 speed GM T style with an internal release bearing assembly. Transmission has been rebuilt. differential assembly is from a 1996 Pontiac Trans-am 3.26:1 and is a posi-trac differential. Axles and housing have been modified and narrowed with Torino style ends for ease of axle removal. Fuel pump is electric.
Front suspension has been re-engineered for full adjustability with manufactored upper a-arm mounts utilizing the original shock arms. Adjustable coil-over shock and springs are supplied by Ride-Tech. Lower a-arms are shock with fabricated mounts for the lower shock mount. Suspension geometry and bump steer should not be altered from original yet have all the advantages and adjustability of a newer performance car. Rear suspension retains larger twin leafsprings, fabricated pan-hard bar, and conventional style telescoping shock absorbers cantilevered at a slight inboard angle for better advantage on cornering. Brakes utilize a Toyota brake master cylinder and vacuum power assist unit with a cockpit adjustable bias contorl powering disc brakes front and rear. All lines and hoses are new.
Wheels are the reproduction, 15" Halibrand's with the 3 earred knock-offs. Rear Inner fender wells have been slightly tubbed to accomodate the wider rear wheels and tires without compromising the body to flares or rear wheel stick-out. Center metal tunnel has been fabricated and does fit the 5-speed transmission. This is a running driving chassis with all the systems in working order. As with every project, there are numerous items and details that I have failed to mention. As you can see countless hours of time have gone into the chassis re-design.
Obviously the car is in unfinsihed condition. Body panels are all there and in body re-do condition. Body panels are resonably straight but as with all projects do need some work and preparation. Interior panels and hardware are all there and in decent condition with a new tonneau included. Cockpit surrounds, dashboard, top bows, original front and rear seats are all included.
There are several new items incuded. Light assembly's, door hardware, aluminum door trim, front fender patch panels, new complete set of "Classic" gauges, and a new complete custom wiring kit with instructions.
