For sale on e-bay: cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Austin-Healey-3000-MK-II-

1961 Austin-Healey 3000 MkII, BT7 with 28,471 miles showing on the odometer. The car is finished in a silver blue metallic paint complemented by a very serviceable blue replacement vinyl interior.

This 1961 Austin Healey MkII is the rare triple SU carburetor model which was only built for one year and for one purpose, Only these models had three carburetors, since competition regulations allowed a change in the size of carburetors, but not the number fitted to the production model. This allowed the Austin Healey factory race cars to run three Weber carburetors. Donald Healey was the genius behind these special cars, and is well-known in automotive circles. All we can say is thank you Donald!!.

As a result, we have a relatively rare car that comes with a 4 speed side shift transmission and electric over drive, the original engine rebuilt, has less than 10,000 miles on it and it has been fitted with a new front suspension, brakes, clutch and fuel pump which were all done at approximately the same time.

This car has its original tourneau cover and a convertible top with removable side windows. All are in acceptable condition. She is a very good daily driver and is a turnkey solution for those looking for such a car. It will also make a tremendous restoration candidate if indeed that is where you wish to take it.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
