A rare beauty, this1962 Austin Healey BT7 Mark II 3000 2+2 Roadster features a complete nut and bolt restoration fully documented by the Austin Healey Concours Registry to meet the Gold level standard at the Lake Tahoe meet in June 2013. It has less than 700 miles on its matching number "Tri Carb" 6-cylinder engine per the accompanying British Motor Industry Heritage Trust (BMIHT) certificate.
Details include a totally rebuilt engine with ancillaries, rebuilt 4-speed gearbox and overdrive, rebuilt front and rear suspension, new brakes, fuel system, new correct fabric covered wiring harness with correct connectors, and exhaust system. All new cosmetics including show quality two-stage paintwork, re-plated chrome, new rubber throughout, new interior including seats, carpet kit, panel kit, soft top, and new windshield with correct Triplex stencil engraved. It is finished in Old English white color per its BMIHT certificate and Black Coves compliment a gorgeous black interior complete with jack, tool kit, owner's manual, tonneau and side curtains in their storage bag.
A documented restoration picture book featuring before, during and after restoration photos accompanies this rare Tri Carb beauty. It is ready to frequent the winner's circle or take on an enjoyable drive down the highway.
