Sellers description:
very nice 1960 BT7 "Big Healey" that has had a thorough body on rebuild completed in 2005. The engine was pulled, rebuilt and painted with POR 15. It was bored out to +3 with new pistons & rings. The crank was turned and the head has new hardened valves and seats. It has a new aluminum oil pan, new clutch and brakes. The exhaust manafold is new from England. I have driven the car about 1,000 miles siince the bebuild and it performs great. The oil pressure moved from 145 lbs right after reassembly to 180 lbs after about 800 miles of break-in driving. The body was sanded and blocked and painted with DuPont automotive paint. The fender panels were removed, cleaned and treated with POR 15 on the inside. The sills and rocker panels are new. The frame was cleaned and painted with POR 15. The trunk floor and gas tank are new. The car has been switched to negative ground. The only item left to finish is the interior. To completet the restoration it should have a new dash and leather seats. Included are a tonneau cover, soft top and tool kit.
